Hello All! The Family Reunion “The Atlanta Experience” is rapidly approaching.
Notes & Updates: The banquet is the main event where we will have special recognitions, entertainment, and the main party. Please dress to impress in our reunion colors, which are Teal (blue) & White. If you can't find the teal color, then all-white attire will also work. What is still available: Banquet: I upgraded for a bigger space, so we still have late owl tickets. The deadline for this must be no later than June 15th for the caterer. Line Dance: Thanks to Cousin Zakiya and Paul, we do have a family line dance. The song and dance will be posted, and we will go over this during this week’s Tuesday Zoom. Hotel: I was able to squeeze in another person this weekend. If you still need to book a room, let us know, and I will still try to get rooms through our representative. Meal Plans: Meal plans are strongly recommended as the resort is expensive, and this way, you know your meals will be included. Transportation (6 seats left). Transportation is strongly recommended to keep everyone together to the best of our ability. We are kind of isolated on a small island. Atlanta is huge, and the park is huge. We are separated from everything by water and a bridge, so exiting the park for outside destinations takes time. Also, consider parking and walking as opposed to close-drop-offs. Heritage Book (15 left): The Heritage Book is a fundraiser. Please consider purchasing a heritage book to help sponsor this event. If you purchase the book and send in a picture, business card, or some type of ad, you will be included in the program. This is a great opportunity for advertising, to let your family know who you are and what you do. (Must have Ad in by Wednesday, June 12th). There is a shipping option if you are not attending the event. Also, Dawn (Madric) Hucks says she will drop them off for you if you live in Delaware. Mugs: Again, this is a fundraiser. Mugs are still available if you haven't ordered yours. If you are not attending the event, have someone bring them back for you. We are getting closer family! Things are heating up. I am excited for everyone to be in attendance. See y’all soon! |
