What can I expect at the reunion? Expect to have major fun, amazing interactions, and great connections. As we attend activities together, have delicious meals, fun and dancing, an intricate presentation, and family recognitions. This will be a reunion, trip, and vacation you will never forget! Your reunion ticket includes: Friday - Meet and greet and laser show. Saturday - King Center tour, picnic lunch at Centennial Park, and banquet dinner and party. Sunday - farewell praise and worship in the assigned conference room at the resort in Stone Mountain Park. When is the family reunion? The family reunion is scheduled from Friday, June 28th, to Sunday, June 30th. The hotel check-in time is 4:00 pm on Friday, while check-out time is on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. If you want to extend your stay, you can select additional days from the drop-down menu while choosing your hotel options. Transportation You should purchase the local $50 transportation pass to ride the shuttles and charter throughout our excursions. It is best to stay together. Finding parking in Atlanta can be challenging and pricey. Flying In: A $89 transportation pass will provide you with all your family reunion transportation needs for the weekend, including pick-up and drop-off from and to Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport. Email your flight itinerary in advance to [email protected] Vans are parked at the hotel for reunion activities. Staying or Not Staying at the Resort Stone Mountain Park Entrance: $0 Free if you are staying at the hotel. $4 Entrance for Saturday Banquet. A $20-day pass may be needed to enter the park to get to the resort. Or, It is recommended that you purchase the $40 annual pass for unlimited entry into the park. |
Hotel Stayers
If you stay at the resort and order a reunion ticket, transportation, and meal plan, ALL your reunion activities and meals are included in the fun-filled weekend from start to finish. You don’t have to worry about a thing. Non- Hotel Stayers Friday 1. Getting into Stone Mountain Park: if you do not stay at the hotel, You May have to pay the $20 entry fee to enter the park where the resort is located. You can pick up your itinerary, welcome bag, and laser show tickets at the Meet and Greet: 4 p.m - 5:30 p.m. in the assigned conference room in the hotel. It is recommended that you purchase the anuual park pass for $40 for unlimited entry. 2. If you purchase your weekend meal ticket, Friday night dinner is at 6 pm. at the Sweet Potato Café. This is a catered event for meal ticket holders only. 3. If you did not purchase a weekend meal ticket: then you can enjoy the park and its attractions until 8:00 p.m. Meet us at the laser show entry gate at 8:00 p.m. Saturday 1. If you purchase local transportation and the meal plan. Meet at the resort at 9:00 a.m. to park, load the charter, and head to breakfast at the Sweet Potato Café. This is a catered event for meal ticket holders only. 2. If you did not purchase the trasnportation and meal plan, you can meet us at the King Center at 12:00 p.m. You will need to find parking, and we will meet in front of the grave pool. 3. We will leave the King Center at 1:00 p.m. and will be at Centennial Park at the children's playground for the picnic at 1:30 p.m. 4. Our next gathering will take place in the banquet room at 7:00 p.m. at the resort located in Stone Mountain Park. Be ready for a great dinner, party, and wonderful presentation. Sunday Farewell Praise and worship will be in the assigned conference room at the resort in Stone Mountain Park at 11:00 a.m. If you purchase the meal plan the last breakfast will be between 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. |
